Raise your hand if you have a guest room that barely gets used! Same here. We have a spare bedroom in our basement, but since our kids are still a few years away from being ready for basement bedrooms, we decided to maximize the space.

The solution? Drumroll, please… A Murphy bed! 

It’s the perfect way to keep an extra bedroom for guests and make the most of every square foot in our house. Plus, it’s super practical for daily use when we’re not hosting.

The installation? It took about 8 hours, but honestly—it was so worth it. The result is functional and stylish, and we couldn’t be happier! We also have a place to keep all the kid things so that my living room looks semi clean most of the time.
